Hon. Alfred Adjei is a community development specialist with over 10 years working experience with both local and international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs).
He's the director of Absolute Community Network (AbCoNet), a community-centered NGO working in most slum communities on education, health and the vulnerable in communities.
Hon. Alfred Adjei is a teacher by profession trained at Presbyterian Training College -Akropong-Akwapem and a student of sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Alfred Adjei is the elected assembly member for AVENOR Electoral Area in the Okaikoi South Sub Metropolitan District Council and has been serving since 2015.
He was the Chairperson for the Culture & Tourism Sub Committee (2015 - 2017) then Youth & Sports Sub Committee Chair (2107-2018) for Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
As a social worker, Hon. Adjei's vision is to bring about a social change and improve the quality of life in various areas such as health, sanitation, local economic development and participatory governance.
He will also collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that, the new vision of AMA, which is Accra becoming a smart, safe, sustainable and resilient modern city will be achieved.
