The Mayor of Accra Hon. Elizabeth Kwatsoe Sackey has visited the residence of the late Hon Samuel Nii Clottey Collinson on a solemn occasion to commiserate with his wife and family.

Hon. Collinson, a distinguished government appointee of the Assembly, passed away recently. He was a former Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG).

The Mayor, accompanied by a delegation made up of the Presiding Member, Assembly members, Coordinating Director and city staff expressed deep sorrow at the loss of Hon. Collinson, emphasizing their shared experiences as former Assembly members.

As she eulogized the late government appointee, the Mayor, who could not control her tears, gave a testament to the profound impact Hon. Collinson's presence at the Assembly had on her.

Reflecting on their time working together, the Mayor highlighted the collaborative efforts and contributions made by the late Collison during their tenures in the Assembly.
