ABLEKUMA SOUTH SUB-METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

he Ablekuma South Sub-Metropolitan District Council was established by the Instrument establishing the 11 Sub-Metropolitan District Councils i.e. Legislative Instrument 1722.

The Ablekuma sub-district is headed by a Chairman who is the political head and an Assistant Director who is the Head of Administration or departments:
The Administrative set up is made up of:
Administration, Treasury, Waste Management Unit, Metro Guards Department, Metro Health Department, Audit Section, Works section, NADMO, Roads Unit, Rating/Valuation.
The structure is headed by a chairman who is the political head and supported by an Assistant Director who is the head of Administration.
