AMA Educational Fund

On the 12th February 2010 the Accra Metropolitan Assembly launched a 6 million Ghana Cedis Education Endowment Fund aimed at providing school infrastructure and furniture to end the shift system within the Accra Metropolis by September 2010.
The successful ending of the shift system will afford over 71,000 pupils in primary and Junior High School to have eight (8) hours quality education each day instead of the current situation where these pupils attend school in shift for only four (4) hours in a day.

The response from individuals, groups and institutions have been very encouraging and highly appreciated.

As a demonstration of the AMA's heart warm appreciation and to put on record for the beneficiaries and posterity to remember and forever be grateful, we have decided to publish the donor list.
